The two tenets of becoming a Soulwright
We seek to restore the Church back to itself, back to Him. This means that we must become the kind of people capable of such a work.
The two tenets of what it means to be a Soulwright are bound up in Church unity and spiritual formation.
The one idea that has shaped our identity more than anything else is the single most shattering notion in the history of the world: the Creator God became just like us, so that He could make us just like Him. This alone should consume our efforts with one another. Nothing is worth losing sight of the love that we are meant to have. At the bottom of it all: we are simply Jesus people.
As a community we continually present our bodies to the work of transformation as we seek out new arts of peace in the restoration of the Church. What we want is to see Jesus’s Prayer fulfilled. Our work is to do everything that we can to make that happen. Therein we begin with ourselves. Body, mind and spirit, the whole person is engaged in His kind of life and wholeness.
